Miami stops: Ultra and Rolling Loud Music back this spring | Lifestyles

Spring in Miami is better known as music fest season.

The event times, dates and venues dropped for two of the city’s most popular music festivals: Ultra and Rolling Loud.

Showcasing the electronic dance music genre, Ultra Music Festival returns to Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami on the weekend of March 20. The first phase artist lineup for the three-day festival has been revealed, with tickets still available for purchase.

Some of this year’s DJ headlining acts include: Afrojack, David Guetta, DJ Snake, Major Lazer and more.

Jamaican-American group Major Lazer is scheduled to perform a live set with its members: Diplo, Walshy Fire, Ape Drums and Skerrit Bwoy. The other headlining DJs mentioned are best-known for collaborating with some of the most popular Black artists such as Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Cardi B, Migos, Travis Scott and more.

This March marks the electronic music festival’s 22nd edition of the event, in part of Miami Music Week.

Rolling Loud Music Festival is coming back May 8 through May 10 to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. Tickets for the rap festival went on sale over the weekend and hip-hop heads around the world have already generated much hype around the event.

Some of the hip-hop genre’s biggest names have performed on the Rolling Loud stage including: Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Future, Lil Wayne, A$AP Rocky, Cardi B, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Migos, Kodak Black, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, Lil Yachty and more.

Founded by South Beach locals Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif, the festival was born in Miami six years ago and has since opened its doors to other cities such as Los Angeles; Oakland, California and New York.

Both festivals include tickets on sale for general admission and VIP that are available on their websites.
